The Well offers a fun, challenging, efficient and effective full-body workout. We design every class to deliver maximum results. Our XFormer routines combine strength-training, pilates, cardio and HIIT to sculpt the body and the mind — all in just 50 minutes. 

 But The Well is more than a boutique fitness studio — it is a welcoming community. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to support, challenge and empower every individual who comes through our doors. We can't wait to see you soon.

Meet the owners.

Kristin Baber and Kate Robart are the founders of The Well Pilates Studio.

They first met nearly a decade ago, when Houston’s boutique-fitness craze had just begun. A shared passion for Pilates (hands-down the most effective workout either had ever experienced!) and a likeminded view of motherhood brought them together as workout buddies, then as fitness instructors — and now as business partners.

Kristin is a California native, former registered nurse, and devoted mom to four girls. A fan of adventure, travel, live music, and cheering on her daughters at their games and recitals, Kristin is proud to help others reach their fitness goals right here in her own neighborhood.

For her part, Kate has always had the entrepreneurial bug, having launched a Scandinavian furniture biz in her 20s. The mom of three understands the importance of finding harmony among family, work and personal health — and chasing your dreams.
